Privatärztliche Verrechnungsstelle Westfalen-Süd rkV ("PVS Westfalen-Süd", "we", "us") is a registered association providing private physician billing, receivables management, and factoring services for medical practices. We are located at Heinrich-Hertz-Straße 4, 59423 Unna, Deutschland.

2. What data we process

Depending on our relationship with you, we may process:

• Contact details you provide (name, email address, phone number, practice name)
• Treatment and billing data submitted by partner practices, strictly for invoicing purposes
• Technical data such as browser type, when you use our website

3. Why we process it

We process personal data to respond to enquiries, to prepare and issue invoices on behalf of partner practices, to manage receivables, and to meet our legal and contractual obligations under German data-protection and billing regulations.

4. Legal basis

Where required, we rely on contractual necessity, legitimate interest, or consent as the legal basis for processing, in line with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

5. Data sharing

We share data only with parties directly involved in the billing and collections process — such as partner practices, patients, insurers, and, where factoring applies, our financing partners — and only to the extent necessary.

6. Data retention

We retain billing-related data for the periods required under German commercial and tax law. Contact-form submissions unrelated to an active billing relationship are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, subject to legal limitations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
